Project Overview.

The Printhie Wines Millwood site in Nashdale, saw a completely new building constructed to house their innovative cellar door and a fine dining restaurant. With a modern and clean look to the exterior, this architecturally designed newbuild features structural steel, concrete tilt-up panels and Colorbond sheeting.

Large expanses of glass windows act as picture frames for the sweeping vineyards and rolling hills, with the views extended by an outdoor seating area that includes a steel arbour structure.

Exposed aggregate polished concrete sits alongside dark paint finishes that add drama to the tasting and dining areas. The dark ceiling allows for the artistic ceiling pendants to take centre stage and a large custom fireplace will keep the cold at bay in winter.

The project battled through snow and Covid-19 with the result being a breathtaking structure consisting of the following elements:

  • State-of-the-art cellar door
  • Tasting area
  • Outdoor tasting pavilion
  • Function space
  • Fine dining restaurant / bar
  • Commercial kitchen
  • Office
  • Storeroom
  • Amenities
  • External carpark / pavements.

The team was proud to be awarded two 2022 Master Builders Association awards for this project in the categories of Commercial Projects and Best Use of Concrete.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
