Before a buyer steps inside their future home, they step inside the display suite.
For UEM Sunrise's One Oval development in Subiaco, that meant creating a premium space that didn't just showcase the vision of the development, but translated the design intent into a tangible experience for prospective purchasers.
Delivered under an Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) model, Renascent worked alongside UEM Sunrise, Deloitte, Cox Architecture and NDY from the earliest stages of the project, aligning design, programme, budget and constructability to deliver a display suite that reflects the quality and vision of the future One Oval development.
With the apartment design continuing to be refined throughout the delivery of the display suite, flexibility became just as important as precision.
One of the project's biggest challenges was the 22-week lead time for the feature curved glazing. Rather than allowing procurement to dictate the programme, the team rethought the construction sequence, procuring the glazing early, adapting the structural steel to suit and progressing internal works ahead of façade completion.
This innovative "inside-out" methodology enabled premium joinery and finishes to be installed while carefully protecting completed works with temporary weather protection and staged construction planning. It required close collaboration across the project team and ensured the architectural vision could be realised without compromising programme certainty.
The completed 340m² display suite combines premium interiors, bespoke detailing and landscaped surrounds to create an immersive experience for prospective purchasers. Every detail was carefully considered to ensure the finished space reflected the quality and design intent of the future One Oval development.
The result is more than a display suite. It's a physical representation of the development's vision and demonstrates what's possible when early collaboration, innovative thinking and quality construction come together from day one.
