We’re proud to celebrate the completion and grand opening of HoMie’s new 180m² flagship store at Emporium Melbourne, a project our team proudly delivered pro bono to support young people affected by homelessness or hardship.

HoMie, a streetwear label, social enterprise and charity reinvests 100% of its profits towards its mission to create employment and education pathways for young people doing it tough. This new flagship space will create up to 48 retail jobs every year, offering meaningful, skills-based employment and helping to break cycles of disadvantage.

We’ve always wanted to do something that’s pro bono, that’s tangible, and we feel it stands for everything Renascent stands for as well,” said Haran Janarthanan, Renascent Project Director. “Seeing the store open and knowing the impact it will create for young people makes it all worth it.”

The Emporium project represents more than a store fitout; it’s a tangible example of what’s possible when industry collaboration meets purpose. From design and buildability insights through to final delivery, the space now stands as a beacon for community, creativity and positive social impact.

“Partnering with Renascent has taken our new Emporium store concept from dream to reality,” said Stephanie Say, HoMie CEO. “With their support, we’ve created an aspirational space that will empower up to 48 young people each year laying the foundations for meaningful, life-changing employment.

As the doors open and customers step inside, HoMie’s impact will continue to grow, creating not only a place to shop, but a place where opportunity begins.
