Amart Base Building & Fitout Works - Orange

Renascent’s Regional team recently delivered Amart’s first furniture store to Orange. Nestled in the heart of Orange, NSW, the long-awaited furniture giant has filled a gap in the furniture and homewares market, offering an extensive range of affordable furniture to the growing region.

This project was staged across base building and fitout works, maintaining a high level of client collaboration to achieve an unparalleled shopping experience.

The project scope focussed on maximising the existing warehouse structure, which included the reconfiguration of existing services to achieve a high-level outcome, to service the new open warehouse plan. External openings, such as concrete laybacks and click and collect bays, were introduced at this stage of the base build in preparation for future requirements.

Stage two shifted to the internal fitout of the existing warehouse structure. This included the construction of a new suspended ceiling, and provision for zones within the open floor space, allowing for a division between display furniture and storeroom and staff facilities. The new furniture display floor was updated with new floor finishes and separating half height walls to mirror Amart national store layouts.
