The vision for 78 Waterloo Road was to create an elegant and sophisticated arrival space for both tenants and guests, with refreshed amenities for a consistent, high-end design throughout. Central to the design intent was to create an exciting new entry and tenant experience.

The works to this commercial building required a unique methodology to manage and deliver the the gross floor area increase to attract new tenants and balcony infill works. By incorporating a cantilever scaffold system, the team ensured there was no impact on the main building lobby entrance for tenants and visitors.

One of the standout features of the project are the striking hanging planters within the main atrium. Their design required steel cabling and column fixing, as well as specific maintenance systems. The Renascent team installed atrium height access that not only met these maintenance needs but also reduced ongoing window cleaning operational costs.

Make good and refurbishments were also delivered to the existing office areas with high-quality fitouts designed to attract new tenants.

The live environment site was also seamlessly and safely handled. The use of a cantilever scaffold system to manage the floor area increase and balcony infill works was a unique approach and meant that there was no impact on the main building lobby entrance for tenants/visitors.
