To continue to meet the demands for care and ensure that the care delivered was on the highest quality, Ramsay Health Care extended their existing hospital along Wolsley Street in Orange.

Part of the Dudley Hospital complex, the extension consisted of 15 mental health beds along with four rehabilitation beds inclusive of medical and surgical swing beds. These vital services required a partner that understood the specific needs of healthcare projects, and working alongside the Renascent team Ramsey Health Care got the specialist support they needed.

Minor internal alterations to the existing hospital included converting 14 shared rooms to single beds, increasing the size of the dining area, and modifying the bariatric room.

Externally the works comprised of new vehicle areas, an internal driveway, drop off zone, a loading zone and new parking spaces.

Further works included:

• Consult rooms
• Group room
• Administration area
• New lounge/patient dining room
• Enclosed courtyard.
