Constructed in 1916 and of historical significance, 80 George Street features traditional timber post and beam interior construction with a brick exterior.
Renascent worked in close collaboration with Carr Design to deliver a new workplace in this heritage building for Boston Consulting Group. The building was to become the global corporate incubation and investment arm ‘Digital Ventures’ – making it the perfect fusion of cutting-edge industries surrounded by heritage features.
The project scope included:
- Lower Ground - Tenancy server room with adjoining visualisation room and end of trip facilities inclusive of showers, change room and bike storage..
- Ground - Function space inclusive of pre-function zones, function/immersions rooms with tea and sanitary facilities servicing the space.
- Level One - Main floor of the tenancy comprising reception, arrival area with meeting spaces and incorporating business operation work zones inclusive of staff breakout / kitchenette facilities.
- Roof - Installation of mechanical and plant and equipment.
