The iconic Grosvenor Place underwent a transformative refurbishment that saw it evolve into a modern commercial centre. In partnership with Cerno and DesignOffice, Renascent worked closely with the building managers to create a space that matched the prestige of the building.

With wellbeing and collaboration at its centre, the space was designed to reimagine what a commercial environment could offer, whilst keeping Harry Seidlers original vision at its core. With full appreciation for this design intent, the Renascent team understood that every detail mattered, and worked to ensure every finish and every touch point was of the highest quality.

The project scope covered the existing upper and lower lobbies, with works including the supply and installation of new joinery, furniture, and finishes. All of which created comfortable, collaborative and exciting spaces for tenants to meet and work.

The demolition of the existing cafe also made way for two new meeting spaces including associated services works and audio-visual systems.

During these extensive works it was critical that the lobby remained trafficable, accessible, and presentable to tenants throughout the entire construction process. A coordinated hoarding plan ensured the building occupants continued to have easy and safe access to their offices with minimal disruption.

In response to the completed works John Derrick, Executive Director, Grosvenor Place said: “Grosvenor Place creates a marvellous environment of collaboration and connectivity through the very nature of its design”.
