The team received two awards in the categories of Commercial Projects and Best Use of Concrete. This project saw a new building constructed to house an innovative cellar door and fine dining restaurant. Exposed aggregate polished concrete was used alongside dark paint finishes adding drama and texture to the build.
Orange City Council engaged Renascent to construct a new extension to the Orange Regional Gallery. Completed works included a new 270-square-metre contemporary gallery wing with ground-breaking lighting design, a 74-seat gallery theatre, a new state-of-the-art storage and conservation area and refurbishments to existing spaces.
This project involved the conversion of the heritage “Newstead” building and surrounds, which was most recently a lawn bowls club, into a compliant childcare facility. Renascent provided value engineering and buildability knowledge to deliver optimal use of existing heritage structures and materials.
This project involved the refurbishment of a semi outdoor seating area of the Cowra Bowling Club. Forming part of ongoing upgrade works at the Club, the project needed to be delivered within agreed timelines to ensure no impact on scheduled events.
Renascent Orange Branch Manager Rob Close said ‘We are honoured to be recognised by the Master Builders Association and are very thankful to the clients and consultants who gave us the opportunity to work on such amazing projects. We are also very appreciative of all the hard work our subcontractors have put in to see these projects come to life. A lot of these projects were delivered during COVID-19 so it is nice to be rewarded for what’s been a challenging time for the construction industry’.
