The Role
As a Project Coordinator based in Melbourne, you’ll play an essential role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the team while developing a strong understanding of how each function contributes to successful project delivery. You’ll help ensure projects run smoothly and efficiently by coordinating schedules, liaising with site teams and suppliers, and keeping every detail on track.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with planning, execution, and project delivery.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure resources and materials are available when needed.
- Maintain and update project schedules, tracking progress and milestones.
- Prepare reports and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Help manage safety documentation and ensure compliance.
- Support with tendering, budgeting, invoices, and purchase orders.
- Anticipate potential issues and collaborate with the team to find solutions.
What You’ll Bring
- 3 years of experience in construction, engineering, or project coordination (fit out and refurbishment is a bonus)
- A degree or diploma in construction management, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Procore, or Excel).
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and multitasking.
