We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Estimating Manager based in Orange. This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of tender submissions, ensuring accurate calculations and pricing are prepared in alignment with client requirements and project specifications.
The Estimating Manager will play a strategic role in driving successful bid outcomes by maintaining high standards in tender documentation, fostering collaboration across departments, and identifying cost-effective solutions.
Your duties and responsibilities:
- Client Relationships: building trust through professional relationships with stakeholders, ensuring accurate, timely estimates that reflect client briefs while identifying opportunities to strengthen stakeholder connections.
- Bid Management: Working closely with the General Manager to effectively manage and monitor the bid process, ensuring all presentations and submissions are within required frameworks; serves as the primary point of contact following bid submission, providing ongoing communication and support to stakeholders, and leading the seamless handover.
- Tender submission: Ensure project delivery teams are fully briefed on all relevant tender details and post-tender information to support project initiation; participate in tender interviews with clients and consultants, leading pre-interview strategy meetings with the team.
- Estimate:Lead the preparation of accurate and competitive cost estimates in line with client specifications and project scope; Coordinate with internal departments, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather necessary pricing, technical input, and project data
- Leadership: Demonstrate leadership by guiding projects, influencing stakeholders, and fostering effective cross-team collaboration
What we are looking for:
- 3-5 years of experience as an Estimating Manager
- Ability to lead and manage a diverse team to gain optimal performance and collaboration
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to establish effective relationships with all internal and external stakeholders; Ability to demonstrate strong negotiation and analytical skills
