The IOOF Hobart project work comprised of a one level strip out of the existing Vodaphone level 9, and subsequent 2 level fitout of levels 9 & 10 in the Vodaphone Building located at 40 Bathurst Street, Hobart. This project included the re-positioning and reuse of the existing internal stairs connecting Vodaphone levels 8 & 9, these stairs were re positioned to levels 9 & 10 and refinished. As part of the stair re positioning work, a new smoke shaft was constructed, and the existing smoke control system reconfigured to suit.

The completed fitout includes an open plan office area, new sit-to-stand workstations, soft furnishings and joinery. The meeting rooms, breakout areas, kitchen and reception are equipped with new floor finishes and feature ceilings as well as lighting and graphics. The fitout works also include the installation of a new mechanical system and fire services to suit the new office layout. Two new Communication Rooms were constructed to house the new electrical and data systems installed to meet IOOF requirements. The electrical and mechanical work included splitting of the previous floors/tenancies and was reconfigured to suit the revised building operation.
