Renascent was engaged by Engineers Australia on a turnkey basis for the fitout of their new offices, presentation spaces and members area. Renascent assisted in design team selection and management, and effectively managed the 20-week construction of the project. Working closely with Hassell Architects and ARUP during the design stages, Renascent were able to assist with cost control and value management, providing the client with the best end solution possible.
Levels 30 and 31 at the landmark, 600 Bourke Street, were chosen as the new location for Engineers Australia. With each floor plate at approximately 1200m2, the Level 30 tenancy area was reduced by one third due to the requirement of two large floor slab cut-outs. Two large voids were needed to maximise the presentation spaces and provide fluidity throughout the floors. Renascent also carried out separate tenancy back to base works for AMP, concurrently with the Engineers Australia fitout.
Engineers Australia holds numerous conferences, seminars, workshops, and tutorials. The layout was designed to reflect the new space including, large presentation areas and state of the art AV technology.
