To continue supporting its administrative staff Robina Health Precinct required a digital training facility and accommodation.
The project involved the creation of an 800m2 habitable area under an existing building by enclosing what was previously a carpark. The project scope also included civil works incorporating the reconfiguration of another external carpark.
The scope of the project covered:
- Two 10-person digital training rooms with AV equipment
- Six-person digital training room with AV equipment
- Digital training lab
- Managers office
- Open plan office space for administration staff
- Large breakout space with kitchenette for trainees
- Toilet amenities
- Storage space
- Reception area for trainees
- Relocation of carpark boom gate and ticket box
- Design and construction of an outdoor shelter
With works being undertaken underneath an operating medical facility, including a COVID-19 fever clinic, stakeholder management and effective communication was essential.
