Madam De Biers project is transformed by Renascent from a heritage-listed banking premises into a themed hotel. The works comprised of careful refurbishment of the heritage façade, the creation of a significant basement level for housing heavy garbage and keg rooms, staff facilities as well as administrative offices.

Additional works included the construction of a mezzanine, first level, new roof, and a green plant room spread across an entire level serviced by a new lift installation. The internal fitout included extensive use of timber for flooring, wall paneling and bars as well as a full stainless steel commercial kitchen.

Madam De Biers works was completed under the constraints of difficult access areas and substantial subterranean water flows.
