The HCF Sydney City Dental Centre project involved the complete strip out, refurbishment and fit out, incorporating full services upgrade as well as façade glazing.
The Dental Facility consisted of 21 surgery rooms, x-ray rooms, staff bathrooms, practice manager office, store rooms, new reception area and a SSU facility. The SSU fitout involved the relocation of the existing sterilisers from the old dental facility, as well as, the relocation of the microscopes for the surgery rooms. The core base build bathrooms were upgraded and improved upon. In the reception area, finishes were high-end with a new bespoke joinery desk and stone flooring.
Medical gases and dental services were installed beneath the existing slab. Works were carried out overnight to keep HCF Retail operating in the space below during the working day.
In the near future, a new staircase will be installed to connect the Dental and Optometry facilities. In preparation for the new optometrist centre, a penetration was formed in the existing slab.
